Default my son and his ace

me and my son are new to this forum. this is my second post and i told you that i wanted to buy another detector for myself. i got the first one for my son. you suggested the ace 250 and you were right! my son loves that detector so much he has taken it from me. i was kind of doubtful about that detector, but it is everything you said it was. now he wants a 1500 thinking it will be a super powered ace. could i really get at least 3 more inches of solid depth with the 1500?

Hi Topknocker, welcome and I am really pleased to hear that your son is going further in this great hobby! Yes depending on ground conditions you will see at least 3 inch increase in depth. Even though the Ace250 is great for it's class there is a reason for higher prices on detectors, you get even better performance. I might also add that the GTP1350 is quite popular also and could save you some money. If I can help you out with getting another model just give me a call Topknocker and very nice to meet you. God Bless and I am really happy for your son!

Welcome to Treasure Quest!!

I think it is great to here a father and son taking up the same hobby. It reminds me of my dad and me back when I was a teenager, we also enjoyed a life long hobby together, and are still involved today!!! I am certainly not a teenager anymore, I'm 47 now.

Glad to here that your son is happy with the Ace 250, it is a real great machine, enjoy!
