Default yellar I can't stand...

Hi all,
Go ahead and laugh, it might make you feel better.
I have decided on the Ace 250, but I can't stand the color of this unit...
How am I to be discreet with a yellar machine like that.. Can you get a camo or black or green one? Or can it be painted?
I have some good places to check out here in "no mans land", but that thing would stick out like a sore thumb. Every redneck that passed within a mile would spot that and want to know what was going on.
Thats my opinion, now lets hear yours. I enjoy reading your comments on this forum and have learned a lot. Good digging to all....

I saw one for sale at another forum, the guy had painted it black. I guess you could put camo tape on it!
Yellow is my favorite color!

I felt the same way about the yellow color and in fact balked several times before buying one. Now I like it better than the bland colors of other detectors.

It may be yellow, but it ain't no coward

I'd say paint it if you don't like the color,. I'm thinking of doing that myself, but mine won't be a bland color, in fact, mine would stand out even more. I'd customize mine, turn it into a girly-girl machine flowers and INDY stenciled on it too.....probably would be pink !!!

Good Idea hightone. The Garrett rain covers are black with embroidered Ace icons on them. they fit well and look sharp.
