Default New to all this
Hello to everyone, I'm new and waiting for my Whites Surfmaster to come in the mail. I have never used a metal detector before, but I'm looking forward to trying it!

Boobie, I hope you are right.....I'm really excited about it! My luck is not all that great, but I guess I'm bound to find something besides screws and beer cans.

Not sure where you are in Florida but my buddy and I were discussing all the nails we will be finding due to hurricane Ivan blowing all the shingles off...I think the tire buisness here must have set records as everyone had to get new tires.That being said we are new to it also and have not purchased detectors yet...But welcome and happy hunting!
