Thumbs up New East Texan Here

Well for the past two or three weeks I have been lurking around on here to figure out which metal detector would be best for me. I did alot of detecting with my grandpa when I was younger, We had alot of good times and found alot of great stuff. About 4 years ago I bought a BH lonestar and rarely used it because I was going to school full-time and working part-time, so I sold it for about $40 less than I paid. Well now that I'm out of school I decided to get back into it. Well this morning I called and orderd an ACE 250 got some free stuff with it such as a digger trash & treasure bag and some literature. I ended up spending $227 with shipping UPS ground. Hopefully it will be here for the weekend my fiance is actually excited for it to get here. I have read alot of information on here and I would like to thank all the posters for the plethera of information.

Welcome, East Texas holds a long history of lost treasure to sunken ships. Depending on which part of Texas you are in.

Best of Luck,
Doug
