Default another new member

I am new to metal detecting and very appreciative to bbqcook for referring me to this website .... most of my post will probably involve asking questions because I sure don't know enough to offer any advise, much less answers .. .. we are located in central NC, just south of Raleigh .... we travel extensively with our camper and want to make metal detecting a part of our trip's activities ... I look forward to exchanging information with the knowledgeable people who make up this community and hopefully get to meet as many of the folks who post here as is possible

Jim

Welcome JEBar to TQ, a darn friendly and informative forum

My wife and I are retired and travel a lot by RV also. Who knows, maybe our paths will cross someday

the warm welcome is much appreciated ... in looking at the locations of many of the above members, we pass through many of their locations ... we stayed at the (original) KOA in Billings a year ago ... we use it as a base while we went to the Little Big Horn and other areas ... we will be in Hershey, Pa (one of our favorite areas) again in October, we will be passing through Iowa in June and again in July, I usually end up in Middlebury, Indiana a couple of times a year, and so on ... when we are in the area and could arrange to meet and put a face with posters from this forum, we would be delighted to do so

Jim

Happy traveling
we will be coming back from New Hampshire and hope to spend about a week at the Thousand Trails Campground near Hershey .... I don't know how far that is from your location but I'd be delighted to make a day trip if it proves to be convenient for you
