Default New SE

I have just purchased a new Minelab SE and find it a bit baffling to operate I am use to the visual ease of a White detector which I have had good luck with, the SE no coins yet alot of rusted stuff. I suppose practice will increase my coin finds.

Patience is the way to go with an SE. Try using it in it's preset settings till you get used to it. then start making adjustments. This will help you to dal with it much better.

Hi Roanen, First keep your user manual handy and read it over and over. Start out in the standard Discrimination pattern and select and reject those items listed. I use the digital window myself. You might want to use semi auto Sensitivity until you get more time on the machine. Be sure to turn off the Iron Mask function for now. The SE is a much faster machine than the Exp.II but keep your swing steady. I like the DD coil because I can pinpoint my targets with the front and center of the coil which is also called the Toe. Don't go too fast. You have an awsome instrument there my friend, just hang with it because it is well worth it . Ok best regards and God Bless ya.
