Default Proper Introduction

Hello everyone! I've been a member of this site for a few weeks and have posted a question or two but haven't properly introduced myself. I live in NC and am relatively new to the hobby. I just purchased a new Tiger Shark from Chuck and have been working on dialing it in......Thanks Chuck!

I've been spending a good bit of time on this site and have been learning quite a bit from everyones posts and all the input. Great info and great site!

Happy Easter and best wishes!!

Tom

searchin70 I’m really not qualified to say this, I’m new here myself, but welcome to TQ.
Do you do any beach hunting in NC.

Wink Welcome

Tom, welcome to TQ. What part of NC are you in? You may be interested in a post I made in response to GySgt USMC in the General Discussion area. His post was titled Eastern, NC and I related some little known history to him that could lead to some nice finds in the areas south of New Bern.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I appreciate it!

drver,

I live in Morrisville NC. I haven't hit the beach with my newest detector yet as I'm waiting on a sand scoop. It should be here Monday!! I was considering the Topsail area but would be willing to travel just about anywhere in NC for a hunt. I'm free on the weekends and evenings. My job takes me to the Willmington area at least 3 times a month.

cjoej,

I had not seen this post. Thank you!.. Very interesting and about 2.5 hours from where I'm at. I'll most certainly be looking into this one.

Thanks!

Welcome searchin70, I have learned a lot here and I'm sure you will also.
I'm just on the other side of the airport from you. Probably about 20 minutes
