New in NE PA
Hi!
My name is Pete and I'm here in the Pocono Mts. I've just started to MD and right now it would be great to find others to detect with. I do go to Harrisburg alot and can hunt in that area also. Any clubs in pa are of interest to me. Sometimes you have to travel  I'm sure there are things here to hunt also so any ideas will be appreciated.Take care & happy hunting Pete

Welcome Pete, I don't know where in the Pocono's you are but there is a club In Hellertown Pa right off route 78 a little west of route 33 that I belong to and we meet the last Wed. of each month. If your interested and it's not too far for you let me know and I will give you directions. You are welcome to come to a meeting and see if you like it, and you don't have to be a member to come. If you like what you see, the membership is only $10 a year and we have one free hunt, and several paid hunts each year.
I know the club has a website but I can't remember the web address. Ken

Thanks for the welcome. I'm sure that I'll have a great time detecting. I think the weather may finally be breaking and warming up some. The nice thing about this hobbyis you never know what is under that dirt. I'm planning to do some hunts so if you hear of any drop me a line. Have to run for now so take care and try to be good.
