Default New guy here

Hi all!
I recently came across this site and was very pleased with the knowledge, helpful tips, and friendly people...so I decided to sign up My name is Richard; Im 23 years old, born in the Northwest of England and moved to my current location....Waukesha County, Wisconsin 11 years ago with my family.

I have owned a White's Classic ID for about 4 years now. During that time I have used it off and on in the backyard/parks with slim results... However, Ive become really interested in this hobby recently, after my father received a Garrett Ace 250 for his 50th B-day. We hunted some of the beaches in the area and found many new coins, plus a sliver ring and earring. Now Im really excited about finding some more great treasure!

Well here is a new location Im thinking about hunting with the MD...what do you guys think? I find it odd that the farmer would leave this patch of land unused in the middle of the field. Maybe the old farm house was once here or old barn?
How should I go about finding info....just go up to the farmer, ask him about the site and if I could have his permission to MD it?

Thankyou boobieinpa for the good advice and welcome! Yes I would like to give the farmer a good impression of myself and that he need not worry about harm to his land, liability...etc

Welcome to TQ!! It sure looks like it may have been a homestead or a barn. Something else to consider is that it may have been a family cemetary. I once lived on a plantation property in KY where the original owner, his wife and his slave were all buried in the field.

Looks like you may find some pretty old stuff there. Good luck!
