Welcome.......... ....... Dont know anything about the pioneer,but if I were looking for a cheap detector I'd consider the Garrett ACE250. About $212...... Very good reports.....

Default Pioneer EX

Mr. Nasty,

Bought one for my nephew & tried it out here in PA. Found a bunch of newer coins at 2 to 4''. I would say thats it' limit & it's very simple to use.
I would have to say tho that the Ace 250 is probably your best bet for the price. Haven't used one but hear & read nothing but very positive things about them. Hope this helps.
