Default 2 day old Md'r from NY (Upstate -New Hartford)

Just an infant to detecting. Just got my first detector in the mail over the weekend. Whites M6. I have only had a chance to work with it for about an hour, due to the "bosses" weekend projects.I did however find 3 poptops, 6 wheaties oldest 1919. 1 qtr 1935 and a bunch of pennies. I'm working on familiarizing myself with the "beeps" to try and get a better feel for whats underground. Can't wait to spend some serious time with it. My area is rich with history and many old houses and buildings.
