Default New from the Golden State

Hi Guy's, and Gal's

I have been looking to get into the hobby for a long time. I have a fairly extensive rock mineral and coin collection, as well as old glass bottles that I have dug out from an gold rush era dump site on my property. I finally have a little bit of disposable income to afford a decent MD. My finance and I have been talking about this for a while and we are ready to make a commitment. I joined this forum so I could gather info, and share experiences with fellow MD'ers. Is there anybody here who has experience with meteorites? Exited to start, but not going make the investment without some information from experts... Thanks TTY soon
