This is rocksman; Pgh, PA. I'm new to this site, and to posting in general anywhere. Had a great time detecting with boobieinPa & his buddy today. Many thanks for the invitation! Had a great time getting out with friends! One of us got silver...that made it even better! I'm going to see it this note "takes" in the system.

Many thanks! He is great indeed. I'm hanging on to this thread/reply thing by a thread. Hard to find where I was. I'll get used to it. I heard there are tons of super people on this site.

We really improved our growing collection of quality pulltabs and caps...plus some more clad. Mark did better at the clad. No more silver though. A fun 8 hour day with friends...I'll feel it tomorrow for sure.

Thanks for the welcome. Your note on the pulltabs reminds me of 2 great people, and detectorists, we lost in the past few years...Mary & Frank Mancini...I used to belong to 2 clubs with them, and did newsletters with them for the clubs. They used to save all their pulltabs, wash them, and stick them in giant long plastic baggies to donate to RonaldMcDonald house. We'll miss them...they were good people!
