Hi ya'll
Newbeee from Louisiana, trying to get started in this hobby after retirement. All help, posts, and communications greatly appreciated. Trying to decide on the 'first' detector and such. Great site and hope to post findings soon as i decide what one to buy.

Welcome GoFinder, I'm not too far from Louisiana myself. Natchez, MS here. My rookie advice would be to figure out what you can budget for one then work from there.

Welcome to Treasure Quest GoFinder! I, too, am from Louisiana. I live near New Iberia. What area of the state do you live in? The Ace250 is one great machine for one starting out in this hobby. It is reasonably priced and very simple to use. Good luck with whatever metal detector you choose to purchase.
