lol well i am hoping they might have been some civil war campers in the area , way back ,when since a creak runs through it, and 40 miles away was one of the most northern battles of the civil war in Salineville in Columbiana County

That's a dream come true for a bunch of people. Do you know of any old homesteads or barns on the land that were demolished? Outhouses? Clothes Lines? Have you looked at the land on GoogleEarth or Google Maps to get a nice aerial view? It may give you ideas if something existed previously. If I were you, too, I would do a whole bunch of research on that land. I'm sure you've got all bases covered. I'm just so excited for you.

Sounds very promising, no matter what.

i hunt with whites prizm 3. the whites prizm 3 4 and 5 are in that price range. whites has a few machines in that range actually. what ever you decide to get you cant go wrong using our sponsors. these are good guys who really know there stuff. they dont just sell the machine they use the machines they sell. you can not go wrong with john,tony or chuck. give em call and they will get ya hooked right up. happy hnting

I havent google mapped it, but there was once a barn on the property , almost complete opposite of where granny's house is, its gone now, blown down years ago, but that thing was way over 100 years old, so i would assume at one point there was a house close to it, i never saw one, but doesnt mean there wasnt one that burned down , or blew away in a tornado.. anyway , it should be fun, i have wanted to detect it since i was a kid, 30 years ago, when i found an old buffalo nickel from like the 20's, dont have it anymore, but i sure was excited as a kid to find it, would like to just experience that feeling again,,
