Ok I got my ACE250 yesterday, it came via fedex or ups , whicih ever i was at work, so the neighbor grabbed it for me.. But I am guessin g my backyard is not the place to test it, very small compact in the city lot, and the thing was freaking out , all kinds of trash in the ground. and yes i turned the sensitivy down a little, according to the video that came with it. in one spot though if was jumping between the .50 and .25 and .10 marks, said it was 4 inches down, did the pinpoint , and found the exact spot, but after going at least 6 inches down and 4 or 5 inches in diam. i found nothing, yet it still went off over the hoel,, is that power line or sewer lines?????????????

It very well could be some sort of utility line, but it could also be something larger than a coin and deeper. You might contact the city to find out where lines were placed in your yard, if you're concerned. You could also just be aware of this and dig VERY carefully. We don't want you to end up on the evening news .
