Default Hello from Tampa, FL.

Hi everyone! My wife and I have just started in this fascinating hobby and are very happy to introduce ourselves. My wife has joined under "madeneida" and I am "madmarco". We are not MAD at all!!!! We just love life so much that we try alot of things out. And we like metal detecting alot! So I have joined this forum in hopes of learning something new. About myself I like to kayak fish here in Tampa Bay and Gulf. My wife and daughter love to roller skate in the colder weather. Soon I will be getting a Minelab Excalibur to copy my wife's detector and probably get a ACE 250 for my daughter. We will treasure hunt the beaches as much as possible.

Thanks bigbillinsc and boobieinPa! This is a great site. I can see that already and we will share as much as we can! I will have questions. Right now I want to concentrate on beach hunting. I know later on I will want to try other types of hunting as well. So far we have met a few people from Welcome to the homepage of SRARC that have been very nice to help us get our feet wet. Thanks We will go along and listen and learn. And of course ask questions along the way!

Smile Hi,

Welcome to the forum. I think you will do well with the Excalibur, I have gotten good signals on small gold toe rings that other detectors don't hit on very well, so it should do good on your beaches.
