New Guy from KY
Hello everybody,
I just bought my first detector while we were in Myrtle Beach on vaction a couple weeks ago and you can guess what I was doing first with it... I bought a White's Prizm V and so far I am very happy with it. I would be happy to hear about this machine both good and bad. I don't think that I will be searching many beaches here in Owensboro KY since there are not many close. I have started to relic search an old homesite and this seems more enjoyable at least so far. I would be happy to find someone closer to me so I could learn from them and I also would like to learn more suggestions for places to search. I have realized that I am going to have to use this detector a bunch so I can learn what it is saying to me. I look forward to posting and reading about this new venture. Welcome to TQ! I'm originally from Paducah, but now live in California. Too bad, 'cause we could get together. I own an Ace250 and LOVE it. Just practice, practice, practice. I think that will do you more good than anything. If you have any questions, you can always just ask away here. Lots of nice and helpful folk here with a ton of experience.

Welcome to the forum. O'boro is just south of a much used river, so don't rule out some water hunting. Sorry I don't have specific information for you, but check out our 50 states postings on this site, maybe Free2Detect has something posted to help out.
