i was in cancun last week. finally remembered to take my eldorado. someone asked me to try and find their wedding ring within a 40 square foot area WOW that's when i found out how great this detector is. this area is the safest place on the beach! no nails, paperclips, bobbypins, pull tabs, bottlecaps, metal any bigger than a crumb, i found it! no ring though, they rake seaweed off the beach every morning and i was 2 days late. later in the week i practiced descriminating. i found about 30 coins, 1 sterling silver bracelet, 8 keys ,earing, and a couple of cheep bracelets too. not bad for pulling the eldorado out of the closet after 2 years. i am still learning. i wish i had a sand shark though. most of the sand was in the ocean after the tropical storm they had ,weeks before...I AM HOOKED!!!LINE AND SINKER! this bad boy stays in the car now.

Good idea keeping one handy in all kinds of weather. I have found keys (for the Police) that were taken from a victim of a robery and thrown, just after the crime. Also been asked to find keys droped in the snow in the parking lot at work. Just never know when it will come in handy.
