i went to the beach yesterday (7/8) and scooped $2.05
today (7/9) i scooped $1.25 and found my second gold ring. the only thing about this ring is that it is a kids ring and only weighs .9gram. but even this small amount still translates to $10.00 cash value when gold is $650 an ounce.
i almost passed the ring by as it was a faint unsteady hit - but dig i did and was so happy to see that 14k stamp on the inside of it.
i will post pictures of my newest finds when i get my digital camera back - i left it at my son's house. he is a nyc fireman, married, and living at lake carmel, ny. this is where i do almost all of my freshwater fishing. last year i caught 2 20" largemouths - they both weighed the same - 4.2lbs - nice fish for up here!
