Default Greetings from the Racing Capital of the World

Greetings from Speedway, IN home of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the greatest spectacle in racing.

I had a detector when I was a wee lad... one of those 20$ pieces of $%#@ that did nothing but discourage me... I was talking to a friend of mine earlier this week after watching a 'treasure' program on Biography and mentioned to him how I wish I had a metal detector... well now I am the proud owner of a MP5 Pro 'Swift Seeker'. I probably won't get out and get a chance to use it till next weekend then I plan on combing our yard real good, have a bit of abandoned railroad on our property and I hope to be able to pay my friend back fast (scrap metal, railroad stakes... as a kid just 15 years ago I'd find dozens and dozens of them... I'd bring some back to the house but most are sitting around in covered piles out there and with the detector I should be able to hunt down some of my caches fairly fast I hope, sure it won't be as fun as finding coin, button, or jewelry but it'll still be fun).

:) So there ya go, there is my hello!

Not sure the link to where he purchased it for me is at MP5 Pro Metal Detector products - Kellyco Metal Detectors . I can't seem to find much about it on the net so I'm thinking it's gonna not be all that great of a machine, but I didn't have to pay a dime for it so I can't complain.
