Thanks for the responses. I think after this fall outage work I am breaking down and buying a MT.

As far as the schools. You would think sense you pay taxes for them you can scan the area. I know I run on my local HS track in the summer to TRY and stay in shape.

Thanks again.

Hi Mach:

Sorry - guess Minelab and I kind of took over your post....

Grab yourself a detector and head on out to that high school track - you never know what you might find!! And let us know how it goes. Where in PA are you?

HH!!

Near Johnstown PA. What does these ghost towns mean? How can I get more information about them? I don't understand them at all.

Hey Mach:

I don't know much about the ghost towns, either...as I understand it, the gal to check with is Free2Detect, I believe she does all the research and put that section of the forum together.

HH!

I am so embarrassed...thanks for pointing that out to me, Pris...and my apologies to Free!! It's so confusing with some of these avatars I can't keep it straight who I'm talking to...I was almost thinking a couple of members here were actually cars!!!

Don't feel embarrassed!!! I think he changed his Avatar after you came along, so you wouldn't know unless you had read several of his posts. It gave me a good chuckle, though. hehehe

Well...just so everyone knows...I really am a girl! Though I guess with a name like Rikki, some people might be getting confused.

Just go to ghost towns on the forum menu ( sounds like a resteraunt ) click on your State and it will list ghost towns in your state by county so you know where to find them. This is all do to the time and dedication of Free2detect who is a priceless source of info that he shares for everyone's benefit. He is just another Prime Example of why this forum is so Great as anyone here will share their knowledge of anything they have to help the next person out. Any info you need as far as ghost towns I'm sure will get answered if not though a post them if you PM Free for what you need to know. IT DOES NOT GET ANY BETTER THAN TQ. It's Family, It's Friends, It's People who Love this Hobby so Much that They will Share All with anyone who Desires to Learn! Ask and you WILL Recieve.

Good Luck & HH
