More than a few, although you might not want to learn from me, I'm too new at it too. When I started seriously in April I didn' know ther'd be that much competition.

Thanks
Leo

Hi and Welcome to TQ. I am on the East side of the state. Good luck in getting started. Take your time and learn what ever machine you use and the finds will come.

I'm in Chester County, PA...don't guess that's anywhere near you...but hello from Eastern Pennsylvania and welcome! I'm a newbie here, too - both to metal detecting and this site...so we'll probably be learning right alongside each other here. Let me know if you get any good tips!

"Dude I'm in the Burgh" Thats funny you mentioned you found your detector in the trash..
While I was hunting last week I was stopped by a guy on a Bicycle who I talked with for a little while and he had mentioned that He Found his detector in the Trash as-well..

I don't know why that is..... I was thinking to myself 'Self" Just maybe that person Found all that trash and was just resting for awhile.

When you do get it going good luck to you..
