Default Hello from Colorado!

Hello All! I'm new to Colorado and relatively new to treasure hunting / metal detecting. I bought a White Prizm III about a year ago - and with my job having me travel so much, I don't often have time to use it. I live in Parker Colorado (SE of Denver) and north of Castle Rock / Colorado Springs. I don't expect anyone to give away any "trade secrets" - but could someone point me in the right direction as to where my wife and I might go one day this week in this area to get some sunshine and hopefully dig up a "treasure" or two? I'm looking forward to learning more about this great past time - and hopefully make a friend or two as well!

Hey there Neighbor.. Welcome to TQ..

I just moved to Castle Rock myself.. I'm also new to Colorado.. But I've been stuck working in Pittsburgh,Pa for a couple of months now..

I plan on being back in a few weeks .. It would be nice to get together some time and do a little THing...

Maybe Chuck. From Treasure Hut can inform us of his Secret Hunting Spots... He's our Denver Connection.

Whadda say Chuck.. Will you fill us in.

Post Welcome to TQ

EPC Guy and mtpockets,

I am a native of Colorado (Denver) and now reside in Aurora. There are lots of sites in the area that are worthy of waving a coil over.

PM me with your email and I will send you information on Metal Detecting and Prospecting clubs in our area here on the Front Range of the Colorado Rockies.

We can talk and setup a time to introduce you to some of the local history and get you started.

SWC
Joe
