thanks Chuck,I'll save my pennies and maybe in a couple of months can
afford a better machine.Ive hunted several times with this bounty hunter
and pinpointing is terrible but the discrimination works fairly well depth is also bad 3 inches max dime or penny.I had a whites detector years and did
really well on coins .I checked out your site and the Garrett 250 catches
my eye

Hi Len -

Welcome to the TQ family...glad you got back into the hobby after all this time. I have a Bounty Hunter Pioneer (newbie detector lol) and find it does pretty well with the coins, though a lot of times it tells me the depth is greater than what it actually is.
