just gettin started,
Hello everyone. I thought I might just jump in here and try to give this animal a spin, I am absolutely new to md and have always wanted to get started and finally have. A friend of mine (l38ranger) steered me towards Chuck at Treasure Hut and I purchased my first detector. I was totally blind heading into this venture and Chuck took the time to listen to me while I tried to explain what I wanted. He pointed me towards the Minelab X-terra 30 and I placed my order. I recieved my detector two days later and before 6pm I had multiple holes in my front yard. (wife is very understanding) So anyway I am very pleased to have dealt with Chuck at Treasure Hut and my first outing to the beach produced some change, a pair of hoop ear rings, a ring and three very large nuts 3" all in one hole.??????? anyway nothing worth anything but still fun, I took the kids and after what I thought was 15-20 minutes, they were tired of swimming and burnt red.. time sure does fly... l38ranger told me I just had to logon here because it is the best site going. I took a few minutes to check it out and I see that I have a lot to learn, I am looking forward to many years of findings..
