New -- Mobile, Al
Jim Patterson
Have new (mid-grade) metal detector. Never done any metal detecting before. I found a lot of indian artifacts (mostly arrow heads) when a teenager in Port Lavaca, Tx., mostly around Lavaqca Bay area and in some newly plowed fields. Foun a rather large indian mound (shell) just southeast of Point Comfort, east of the bauxite storage area on a creek.

Hey,come on into this place and welcome.I used to live in Mobile and still have a daughter there.Great place.We had a member on here some time back that lived out on Schillinger Rd,but,like boobie,this mental affliction of mine keeps me from remembering his name.Maybe he'll see your 'hello'and post again.Some others have been over around Gulf Shores,so you should be able to team up with someone soon.Anxcious to see some finds from down there.HH
