Default another buckeye newbie

Hey everybody. I just got my first metal detector and I'm really looking forward to finding some buried treasure here in OhiO. Next week my family and I are going to mrytle beach for a week of fun in the sun so if anybody got any advice for a newbie like me I would greatly appreciate it.

Welcome to TQ, jczx2! Take a look around at some of the topics. There's a lot of info under the "Metal Detecting Tips" area. Some great advice there. Enjoy!
