Hi Y'all.. New in Missouri
Hello everyone.. I'm new here. From Excelsior Springs, Missouri.. Quick tidbits... I use a Garrett GTI2500..mostly into coinshooting.. been looking for some lost cache of loot that jesse james buried.(aint found it yet). Been detecting since 1985.. Always looking to go.. any local peeps around. holler at me

Hey there!
I'm sure i'll be addicted soon!! I am currently scanning some of my unusual finds.. its been really dry in my area for a while..broke 2 knives digging in the last month.. got some rain recently though..so far this year Found a large cent at grandparents farm in richland county ohio in august, can't read the whole date though, few mercury dimes at a school there and an interesting trade token, no date.. the usual clad, few wheats, couple rosevelt silver dimes.. thats about it.. Just really getting into relic hunting this year.. Father in law is a huge relic nut in springfield, mo..going with him soon.. I will be in North Carolina, area of wilmington at the end of october, plan on doing some beachcombing there, looking for the elusive spanish coins.. wish me luck

Have a great trip to NC. I know there was a post on here a while back about MD'ing in NC. I remember several beaches on the Outer Banks being off limits to detecting, don't remember if as far south as Wilmington was in with it. May be a good idea to check it out and I'm sure whoever posted the list earlier will let you know if they see this.
