Hello from Elk Grove
Hello Everyone,
My name is Josh, I live just south of Sacramento. After a long time of wanting my own detector, I was finally able to pick up a white's MXT. This is my first detector so I'm looking forward to finding some good things. My first find was a 1985 quarter, while searching some quartz in Placerville. Tomorrow will be my first real day of hunting, hopefully I will be back here is many new finds.

Welcome to TQ! ...my wife and I walked around Placerville and had a nice lunch there a few months ago...they also call it "Hang-Town" don't they? I hope to get a chance to hunt in the area before long...there is so much history in the area...good luck with your new machine and HH!
