Well, first time out had fun...Did about 1 1/2 hour on beach.....The Quattro is amazing, have not read the owners manual yet, but it is so easy to use....My first find was a tiny peice of tin about the size of a dime, 4 inches deep in the sand! Then a very old pair of sunglasses [metal rim] absolutely of no value, and a quarter 1962 vintqage....Yah, i am a rookie, and loved every minute of it!!!!!!!!

Hi and welcome to TQ. Great detector. Good luck.

1. There's no such thing as a hunted out site.
2. Learn as much as you can about your dector, tones, and VDI
3. Reseach-library,old maps and historical societys are great for tips on places to hunt.
