Smile Welcome to TQ

Beaches are the best! Be sure to check out the Beach metal detecting forum for pointers.
A couple of quick pointers -
Concentrate on smaller sections of beach.
Watch the beaches and find where the best concentrations of population is.
Check out the beach the day before a hunt, take pictures with a digital camera. That way you have a map of where the "blanket line" is and where to concentrate your search.
Start your hunt very early in the morning.
Scan in overlapping paths.
Be sure to dig every signal and remove all metallic trash.
That will give you some areas that you are in control of. When anything is lost you will find it.
Good luck in finding that diamond encrusted ring.
Happy hunting.
