Default Greetings from Tennessee

I am relatively new to TQ and metal detecting. My wonderful wife got me a detector (bounty hunter tracker IV) last Christmas and I am hooked although I haven't found much or had many opportunities to go hunting. Today I received, via UPS, a Cobra Beach Magnet, underwater metal detector. I am an avid scuba diver too. With the Cobra I also bought a pinpointer too. All from Kellyco. I can't wait to get back outside and hunt.

Welcome to TQ, Chuck! And from your avatar, thank you for your service overseas!

You are in the right place for starting out in the hobby. We have a lot of great info here and a lot of great people to ask questions of.

Take a look around and see all the site has to offer.

If you have any questions, let us know and someone will be able to get you an answer.

FYI, in the avatar, thats me on the left, with the rifle, in 2004. The other soldier is a Chaplain. We are standing on the Ziggurat (southern Iraq) at the ruins of the ancient city of Ur. The ruins in the back ground are a palace. Over the hill in the back ground are supposedly the ruins of the house of Abraham. Thanks for the welcome.
