HI again,

TinMan, no I didn't get the Vaquero, I did a bit more research and decided on a Laser trident 2 made by Tesoro for the UK conditions.

“Click the ground balance into fixed...you have a Cibola
Turn the ground balance to manual...you have a Vaquero"

I let you know how i get on.
I had a nice find with the Compass Scanner pro I've been borrowing, not sure what it is. At the moment the local museum has it and is in the process of identifying it, maybe Roman or medievil but unsure, old and bronze.

BFN.

Well if it's made buy Tesoro, you'll probably be pretty happy with it. Thats kinda cool you can make it work like a cibola. Very Happy for ya. Let us know what your find is that the meuseum has, sounds really interesting. Be lookig forward to seeing your finds. Have a Good One.

Good Luck & HH.

Welcome mate, to Treasure Quest, the best darn MD forum anywhere. I used to live in Suffolk so I know some of the great places you have to detect there. Good luck and look forward to some of your finds.

Cheers. JC
