So far I've found one very old license plate, a lot of nails, some funky green pennies and other misc. change.. but who's counting? I'm just here to have fun!

Welcome to TQ!! You're gonna be sooo addicted to this hobby. Especially if you're already building tools for it! I tell you what, though.

You might find it easier to dig if you have a longer digging tool. I have seen one made by Lesche that may work better for you. Check with one of our sponsors, but I've tried digging with a normal trowel and that's hard diggin'. The one I'm thinkin' about is something like this:

No matter what, just get out there and hunt!

Default Hey Monkster

Welcome to the TQ Family . Sounds like your off to a real good start. Just keep practicing and learn what your detector is tellin ya. One of the family Members here has some Property in Interlachen wich I believe is in the Gainesville neck of the woods. I'm suppose to go with them either this Winter or next Spring to check the property out so when I do I'll give ya a Shout and we'll make arrangements to hunt together. Good Luck and we can already See that Your NOT letting anything Slow ya Down. Way To Go and Your defitnitley an Inspiration to others ! Lots of Great Folks here so ask All the Questions ya Want.
