Smile Welcome to TQ!

Welcome to Treasure Quest.
Nothing wrong with the cheapy Bounty Hunter. I made one of my very best finds of all time with one. It was a gold crucifix with gold chain in like-new condition. Lots of other treasure too. The only reason I had to move away from the Bounty Hunter was that I just broke it (physically) with all the long hours of swinging.
There are lots of folks from SC around this forum, they will be glad to help you find hunt sites.
Also, look in the various forums for tips. There are some ingenious folks on TQ that have some great suggestions for finding treasure and good old clad.
Happy hunting!

Welcome Sonja, I did some MD'n on Hilton Head beach while on vacation a few years ago. I called some local park office (can't remember exactly) and they said it was OK to hunt the beach there. I didn't find much, I had just gotten my detector shortly before and I had no idea what I was doing.

Welcome!

You may not realize it now, but this is the best thing you will ever find.

There are more good people here, and I've made more life-long friends here than I would have ever thought.

As pappy so correctly said, Welcome to the Family. We look forward to teaching you, learning from you, laughing with you, and maybe sometimes feeling your pain.

And, we got your back.

Happy Hunting and Happy Thanksgiving.
