Default Hello!!

Hello TQ!
Just did a long post but it didn't go through, so let's start again. I am very happy to be here, i just found this site today. Been going to this other site, but it was a place to mainly post pics of your finds. This looks like a good place to be to ask questions and to learn from others. That was the impression i got just from reading the forum for the past hour.

I do not have a detector yet, but been wanting one for a long time. As you can tell by my user name, my heart is set on getting a Whites XLT. Been reading and studying for a while. Whites is a popular name brand and i hear good things about them. I don't want to start with a lower detector, i want the best i can get when i start this addictive hobby. I currently live in Alaska so i have 5 or 6 months to save money before spring gets back. But i do plan on moving in 2 months, to either Minnesota or Nebraska. I moved to Alaska from Arizona. At least in AZ you can hunt year round.

Dealers in both those states tried to push the MXT on me, mainly because people hunt gold nuggets there. But i still will get the XLT, my mind is set on that for sure.

Even though i do not have a detector yet, i would like to post and reply in order to learn more from people here. I ordered the Whites XLT DVD a couple days ago. Want to learn as much as i can about the XLT before i can afford to buy it. Again, i am happy to be here and looking forward to meeting everyone, and anything i can learn. Thank You.

XLTKID
