Brand new to the forum. I'm brand new to the hoppy. I don't even have an MD yet - Santa's bringing it (it's a BH Trav IV - I peaked).

Hi, Flyerdog and welcome to TQ where typing and spelling skills are not a requirement!

I am excited for you as I know how much you are going to enjoy the hobby. Just need some patience and a littel research about your area and you will do fine, I am sure.

We have a lot of knowledgable people here and they are willing to help with any questions you might have.

Check out our tips section and the BH forum area and don't be afraid to ask anything here. We actually like people who are new to the hobby!

Welcome to TQ. I recently joined and the folks here are friendly.
I recently got two "like new" Bounty Hunter Tracker IVs for my two youngest boys - awesome deal off ebay. I tested them and they seem like good detectors - I was able to pull up a silver Roosevelt, six wheat cents and several dollars in clad between the two. Now the're both cleaned up, wrapped up, hidden away and awaiting Christmas day. Detecting is a great hobby, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
