Default New to md & site

Hi,
I'm new to md. I started with a BH VLF that I found at Radio Shack on sale (Less than $50) the day after Thanksgiving. I bought it on a whim (never really intended to get into MD seriously). Guess what? After a couple of days of md and hours and hours of research, the "toy" had to go. (An ACE 250 will arrive here on the 3rd. )

Now I'm trying to find a club or other MDers near Statesville, NC. Md seems to have gotten its hooks into me in a short amount of time.

Happy New Year everyone!

HH,

HL

Welcome to the hobby and the site. I just started too and like you i upgraded rigs right away. Got a BH for -$100 and went out one time, got hooked and bought an XLT which I am anxiously waiting for.
I look forward to hearing about and seeing your finds.
