Default Success Stories

I am new to TQ, and in Chicago you don't hunt this time of year, so I am waiting for the warmth................question, i am looking for stories of valuable finds in the dirt. What are the most valuable things some of our members have found??

Welcome Toadfish...you might want to check some of the past posts under finds.There has been so many over the last 8 months or so...I had found a 1900 quarter and a 1895 shield nickel up in Delaware a few years back. Along with other good stuff. I posted some of the pictures on my profile page a few months back..I am sure others will tell also...happy Hunting...Buster....

Welcome to TQ, My best finds are a 1934 walking liberty half dollar, a 1911 V back nickel, and a Civil War Naval Cadet cuff button,. I could go on and on cause I like everything I find. Looking forward to seeing your finds, Happy hunting.

Welcome to the site Toadfish! Lots of good info and posts here. As far as valuable well in some ways that really depends. Some people hunt relics, others money, others looking for rings and such.

For me my most valuable was not even worth that much. I found a 1940's bus token in my wifes grandmothers yard. She was a great lady and I like to think she may have owned the token. For me it is a great item, Beale.
