Welcome to the site Eshore!! Glad you dropped in. I grew up about 1 hour from Norfolk Va. Where abouts on the Easrern Shore are you? That is a great area lots of history and places to hunt. Good luck with your hunting, Beale.

HI eshore .. WELCOME to TQ ! You came to a Great Place with lots of Great Folks & Info. Are You going in Shallow water and the Sand or Diving ? I Think Your Choices will come down to .. Minelab Excall 1000.. The New Excall II With the Iron Mask Feature... Tesoro Tiger Shark and The Fisher CZ21. These can all be used In Salt & Fresh Water and on land. They can be Hip mounted for land use as They are on the heavy side as to being a Water Machine.
Talk to our Sponsors here as they can dial Ya in on your needs. There are More experieced Beach & Water detectorist here that I'm sure will chime in as I Just got into this aspect last year. Hope this helps a little.
Glad to have Ya Aboard ! look forward to your Posts & Finds.

Good Luck & HH
