Hi Rodney and welcome...I use the White's DFX...I had a relative...no longer living...but know he is looking down and pointing me in the right direction for those finds...
He used one of the older White's...So I guess I would say that is what led me in the direction...when I was able to upgrade...to choose the DFX...I have only used the bounty hunter and the DFX...Not familiar with the other detector's...But have to say...The DFX has served me well!!! I have been very pleased with the finds I have turned up...Is a great detector for inland fresh water hunting...Shallow water that is...you don't want to submerge this unit...just the coil is ok...Has served me well for those sandy area's and love hunting old homesites as well!!! Welcome to a great forum and know you will be happy with what ever you choose...just have to learn the detector and will be looking forward to seeing those finds you make!!! HH RingDancer
