I want to introduce myself to everyone. I am urb2165 (Rodney Boyette) and I am new to metal detecting. I am sure that I will have lots of questions for you all so be patient with me. I live here in Dillon, SC and there isn't a club near by that I know of. Also I would appreciate advice on what detector to buy. I want to do coin, jewlery, relic and gold hunting both on the SC, NC beachs and inland.
Thanks

Hi Rodney and welcome to TQ and the wonderful world of metal detecting.

As for the questions, ask away, plenty of friendly and helpful here.

I have some questions myself:

What price range are you in?

Do you want a detector that can get wet?

By gold hunting, do you mean jewelry and coins or prospecting type hunting?

Hello everyone I am urb2165 (Rodney Boyette) I live here in Dillon, SC and I am interested in Metal Detecting. I don't know of anyone in my area that is detcting so I may be asking for advice from time to time. I would like to do some detecting along the NC & SC shores and inland for coins, jewelry, relics and gold. What detector would you suggest I consider buying?

Thanks
