Default Metal detecting in Arkansas

Hello,
I am new to this hobby of metal detecting and been searching the net all over and found nothing. Is there one particular forum on here for people of Arkansas to post and read? I have been looking for areas that are open and it seems due to laws , opinions , wishes, wants ,dislikes etc. from archeologists up to and including the governments its illegal to hunt and discover just about any where you go .

Welcome to the site! Glad you dropped in.

I guess you have checked the local parks? Most local parks are ok as are public schools. How about ball fields, or swimming holes?

I know we have some members from your state.
Here is at least on club.

ARFederation of Metal Detector & Archaeological Clubs Inc.

I hope you decide to hang around. Lots of good inf and folks here, Beale.
