As soon as I get strated I will post, for now my son in law takes care of a ranch all by himself,in the summer they have a lake that gets fillled but for now its empty, lots of people visit and as far as my son in law nobody with a metal detector has gone over it.They have horse ridding big lake and A picnic area too.

Hi Rev and welcom to TQ, sounds like your on the road to recovery if you're going from wheelchair to detecting .

Sounds like you made a good choice in the M6 and also sounds like you have a good place to hunt, can't wait to see some of your finds.

I like your avatar, but I have to warn you, detecting may be just as addicting as smoking .

Welcome to the site Rev! Glad you dropped by. You got yourself a fine detector on the way. The M6 will do all you want it to. Good luck with it and enjoy, Beale.

Welcome Rev:

My doctor ordered me to walk at least a mile a day to relax. I found that wondering around the neighbourhood at the end of the day just made me more stressed out as all I did was think about problems on the job. Swinging a metal detector cured that problem as I absolutely can't think about work and metal detect at the same time. The perfect destress activity and I lost 20 lbs. as well. This hobby has good exercise and is a lot of fun which will help take your mind off of your body so that it can heal itself.

Be Well,

BDA
