Welcome to TQ.....

well one consideration is what your going to do with your detector... that will help narrow down which one would be best for you...

You will get lots of input from all the members here and hopefully it will help in your final decision

Hi, bob! Take a look at our Metal Detector Review area for some member opinions/reviews of some of the machines you list.

I am a bit prejudiced so I will suggest the Excal will not let you down. See my review of it for further justification.

If you are plannung on going into and under the water the Excal is hard to beat.

If I was budget watching the Tesoro's would work also. Good luck with your choice, Beale.

Hey Eshore, I would think you want something with some form of Discrimination as The Sand Shark is a PI unit and you will Dig everything. The Excals get Rave reviews and seem to be the Ticket for alot of Folks. I have The New CZ21 but do to the weather have not gotten it out yet But From those who are using them and from those with the CZ20 as they are pretty much the same.. They are getting Rave reviews to. I know there are folks on here with the Tiger Shark so maybe they will chime in. Have met folks in the water with them and they seemed to Love them. Soooooooo out of your list, I would think one of those 3 would be what you want. Others will chime in and check out the reviews. Whatever Ya get Good Luck & HH !

Take a pass on the TShark if you are hunting salt water it's a freshwater shark.
Excal and CZ21 are top drawer VLF machines and you won't og wrong in the ocean with these two. These are the most popular units for surf pirates who are serious about getting the loot. Cost a lot but deliver a lot, you should be able to pay for these units in a couple of months just by your finds, if you're serious.

Cheers,

BDA
