Default Hello from Hoosierland

Hello,
My name is Dale and I'm from Fort Wayne, IN.
This appears to be a very friendly forum so I thought I'd join and say Hi.
uh.. Hi.
I was into MDing when I was teenager 30 years ago and I used a Compass w/o disc so I dug everything, and that probably won't change. Last year I bought an Eagle II at a pawn shop and bought a new lower rod and battery box and have what I hope is a decent machine. It works very well finding pull-tabs and aluminum foil. I have found some clad and cool junk but nothing spectacular. It's just going to take a little time to learn it I guess. I do know that I need to get a smaller coil due to high trash areas.
We are allowed to hunt the city parks here, and there are a bunch of them, along with a rich area history so I have spent the very long winter drooling over parks, old maps and MD forums trying to learn something..anything.
Well it's nice to meet you folks and If anyone has any hints or secrets on using my old detector I'd appreciate the knowledge.
HH,
plugNi

Welcome to the site Dale! Glad you dropped in! It sounds like you are on the right track with digging it all. Hope you get some info on the Eagle, Beale.

I did a quick search and found this. I did not know if you had it or not.
