Welcome to TQ. Like you I wanted to do this for some time and finally bought a MD. I received it yesterday and am busy reading the manual and watching the DVDs that came with it. I can't wait for the thaw in Michigan.

Welcome Robert! Where abouts is home? I'm an ND native myself -- Jamestown, now in New Mexico. I'll be back up that way this spring and probably throughout the summer checking on Mom, etc. There are a ton of old places to hunt back there and I can't wait to find some time while back home.
