Welcome to TQ Goldie.
I have the BH Land Star as well, I like it alot!!! It will tell you pretty well whats in the ground and how deep. But dig everything untill you know the tones. Practice with different metals like in our users guide and you'll do great. I'm still learning everytime out but if you have any questions let me know. Look forward to your finds Happy Hunting Rick

Wecome to TQ...I never have made it to Australia (yet...), even though I have been around the world a few times thanks to Uncle Sam (Retired U.S. Marine) I'm sure you have just as many great places to metal detect as we have here in the U.S...
