Hello from IL
Hello all.
My name is Clovis and I'm a 39 year old married female with 2 grown sons, 1 step-daughter and a 5 year old grandson. I have been interested in arrowhead hunting/ collecting for over 16 years and have found lots of nice points. I have also found a 3/4 groove axe and 2 celts. And a couple of pieces of bannerstones. Can anybody guess which is my favorite kind?  Of course that's the only one I've never found. I don't get to hunt much anymore but still love to buy when I can find ones I like and can afford. I live in central IL and live in the country with a creek running thru my yard. I unlimited have access to the only ground all around me. Lots of nice hills. Without a darn thing on 'em. I know I've looked them a bunch. Besides the clovis I also like any of the other paleo points and dovetails and thebes are my favorite archaics. All of the turkey tail points are my favorite woodland points. I look forward to sharing stories and pictures when I can get some up.

Thanks for the greetings all. It's nice to have people to discuss rocks with and I really enjoy looking at others treasures too.
My DH encourages my collecting when I can and will look at them with me but definately doesn't have my passion for them. Poor dear is tolerant. LOL I am medically disabled and can't drive so my hunting is quite limited anymore. I used to take my boys about every weekend when they were little. My 18 year old made his first "find" when he was two. An ear of corn. But he was proud of it. LOL
